Erik Hall (1981) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and recording engineer in Chicago, Illinois. He is best known for his work under the name In Tall Buildings, a long-running outlet of spacious, experimental pop.

Erik began studying piano as a child and quickly took rather naturally to the guitar and drums as well. He played percussion in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and went on to study music and audio engineering at the University of Michigan School of Music.
For most of his adult life Erik has been on tour throughout the United States, Europe, and beyond, recording and performing with NOMO, Wild Belle, His Name Is Alive, and Saturday Looks Good To Me. As a producer he has engineered albums for LEAN YEAR, Bambi Kino Duo, and Kranky recording artist Justin Walter.
Erik has released two critically acclaimed solo albums: In Tall Buildings (2010) and Driver (2015). He is on the record label Western Vinyl.
